We recorded our first two singles, "Converse Theory," and "Head Rush" DIY AT HOME! We learned audio engineering through graduating from the UW Audio Production Certificate Program during COVID and began a journey into the world of women in audio! With mentors like Lilian Blair, Caridad Espinosa, Jam Phelps, and Rachel Field, we navigated the world of livestreaming and recording, taking the power and control into our own hands after a few unfortunate experiences with male engineers at local studios. You can do it!
We co-founded a new program at North Seattle College for courses in audio engineering, mixing, mastering, and post-production led entirely by a faculty of womxn and BIPOC!
We founded a community on Facebook for online lessons at little to no-cost in audio engineering, mixing, and production!
Gear Fanatix is a safe space for underrepresented audio nerds to discuss all things audio! We have demos, articles, and interviews regarding mixing, mastering, and production. We partner with Earthworks Audio, Sweetwater, SoundToys, Waves, PreSonus, Eventide, and more to bring you honest and creative content.
We are interning at Earwig Studio to educate ourselves in audio engineering from mixing wizard Don Farwell! We hope to be able to assist other bands in creating their musical visions!
